Pipe Works Render 1 by dainbramage1 Pipe Works Render 1 by dainbramage1
This is the first of two versions using the same parameters and viewpoint, but different lightmaps.

This started with my params for The Collective Brain, but I utilize Luca's (Darkbeam's) mixpinski4 formula. Although it's use isn't readily apparent, it definately made a difference.

You can download Luca's formulas here: [link]

very cool shapes but it's the perspective, the lighting and the sense of depth that make this image an absolute killer!

Can't choose, they both look good, super work. Read the thread at TT where Luca was talking with Jesse about the disappearing Menger or something, he mentioned the Pinski worked but the other one Fades away, have to update my formulas I guess and try'em out

Thanks Lenord! I couldn't choose either so I decided to upload both. :D

I added the mixpinski4 formula to my params for The Collective Brain and moved it to the 2nd formula. After a couple of settings adjustments I was pleasantly surprised with the results. I tried a sierpinski and octahedron but didn't like the results as well. In any case, I don't think I used mixpinski4 how Luca would have intended, but it suited my needs. ;)
