(Wow!!! My first ever Daily Deviation. There has been an overwhelming response and I thank from the bottom of my heart all who commented, faved, collected, added to groups or added me to their deviant watch. And thanks to all others who will in the future. There has been such an influx of activity that I can't possibly reply to or thank everyone personally, which I love to do when I can. You are all greatly appreciated.)

I had to travel to the other side of the galaxy to get this shot of the first snow of the season on Altarius, but it was worth it.

Mandelbulb 3d

I have been scouring Fractal-Forums to learn how to create rotated mandelbox fractals. There is a lot of good information to be found on the site if you look for it. The parameters used here was based on what I learned there, particularly in a post by "lenord". The color scheme is the same one I created for "Chocolate Fractal".

Daily Deviation

Tired of nothing but snow, snow and more snow; I cross the galaxy to find the exotic landscapes of the Altarian Badlands, filled with...more snow. Which is okay, because *mcimages has loaded this with incredible fractal detail and has shown an awesome aptitude for composition and focus.
